Camping over Memorial Weekend in Door County
We all went camping in Door County over the weekend. I took Thursday/Friday off and left Thursday evening (packing all day :)) we arrived about 11:00 PM, set up camp. Some folks from my work came as well, we rented a group site. It was separated from everyone else just like our private campground. Kids had a blast. We brought Cassy’s boyfriend, they had a good time. Makenna went on ADHD meds and Ethan has been on them for about a week, they behaved awesome! they rode their bikes a lot, we played soccer, football and some golf bean bag game. They went swimming, I opted out, pool was pretty cold. Speaking of cold OMG it got VERY cold at night. Without fail around 4:00 AM Makenna would crawl into our bed and snuggle. God am I going to miss that when they get older. Weather was great while we were there, we cut the trip short and left Sunday due to thunderstorms coming that night. Came home, unpacked and chilled the rest of the day. I have some pictures I will post later. I started my class this week at Lakeland, marketing principles. I was reading some chapters that were assigned and it really goes hand in hand with my current role (Business Development) I am excited as I really enjoy learning new things.
